Crazy Naked Guy!.. and more September 19, 2007

So I don’t have any new pics just yet, it’s been pretty much more

of the stuff you’ve already seen. I do have two little stories though.

The first one is the reason for the sensational title of this post.

Yesterday I saw a crazy naked guy on the way home from work.

He was starkers, bending over with his rear end facing the on

coming traffic. My becak driver and I had a good little giggle,

and he said “orang gila”… which means “man crazy”.

That was followed by a minute of me speaking English to him

while he spoke Indonesian (a type of conversation getting quite used to).

The second one is a little more soppy.

I had a lovely moment at work today.

There’s a quiet little boy in my Nursery class,

he’s really sweet, and I think quite clever, but he daydreams,

and he panics when he’s asked something. Up until today

he’s been struggling to hold a crayon properly, so he

couldn’t really do the worksheets that the other kids do -

things like drawing and colouring in shapes, tracing

letters and numbers etc. BUT..today he managed to

hold it a bit better and he drew me a circle, then traced a ‘3′.

I’ve never seen a happier person in my life!

He was grinning from ear to ear and bouncing up

and down in his chair… he just wanted to trace more numbers.

It felt good, and it made the naughty ones more bearable.
