It's quite strange, I haven't thought about this blog for nearly a year - until this weekend, when I went back on just to reminisce. And now you stumbled across it. I've always wondered why the word 'help' was carved there - but I just thought it made such a lovely pic. What a magical place Sorake was. One of my all time favourite places in the world. We only there for 5 days over a long weekend and were really sad to leave. And mama was just so kind and had such interesting stories. I was also living in Medan, and still have a few good friends there. What a crazy city. Thanks so much for the trip back down memory lane, and for a marvelous coincidence! Take care Jen Oh My gosh! I worked in North Nias for more than two years and one of the last joint travels I had with my great team was to Sorake.
